Tomb of Sargeras is Legion's fourth raid, and it opened in patch 7.2.5. Nine bosses, the entrance on the Broken Shore, and Kil'jaeden at the finish.
Entrance and difficulties
- Entrance: the Broken Shore, right by the Tomb itself (roughly 63, 22), on the south-western side of the building.
- Four wings: The Gates of Hell, Wailing Halls, Chamber of the Avatar, Deceiver's Fall.
- In story terms the raid carries on the Broken Shore campaign: the Tomb is opened up for patch 7.2 and cleared out in 7.2.5.

Bosses in order
Goroth
The gatekeeper throws meteors and hammers fiery spikes into the floor.
The spikes are not an obstacle but cover: hide behind them from the blast and do not stand in the fire.
Demonic Inquisition
Two tormentors at once, Atrigan and Belac, sharing a single torment bar. If it fills up, the raid is done for.
The group splits and hits both of them, and some players are periodically dragged off into the torture chamber: do your bit there and come back.
Harjatan
The simplest boss of the wing, a fight that is almost pure damage.
Tanks swap on stacks, the raid spreads out away from the waves and finishes off the minions.
Mistress Sassz'ine
A naga with an underwater theme: harpoons, volleys and summoned creatures.
The harpoon chains from one player to the next — spread out from your neighbours. Kill the adds immediately, otherwise the arena turns into a mess.
Sisters of the Moon
Three priestesses of Elune, each with her own set of abilities.
Kill them one by one in the order you have assigned; the ones still alive grow stronger, so you cannot drag it out.
The Desolate Host
The raid splits into two halves: one fights in the world of the living, the other in the world of the dead.
The two halves help each other but see different mechanics. Listen to voice chat — this fight cannot be done blind.
Maiden of Vigilance
The titanic guardian hits the raid with Light and Fel, and players pick up a charge of one of the two types.
Collect only the orbs of your own type and do not mix with players carrying the opposite charge.
Fallen Avatar
A giant incarnation of Sargeras, a two-phase fight with a disintegrating beam.
Steer the beam away from the raid, deal with the adds and be ready for damage to spike sharply in the second phase.
Kil'jaeden
The finale on the deck of a Legion ship. Armageddon meteors give way to phases of darkness where Illidan helps you.
Move out of the meteors in time, stay near Illidan's orbs in the dark, and in the last phase hit as hard as you can — that is where Darkness of a Thousand Souls comes in.
What the raid gives
- Tier 20 tokens — the full set can only be put together here.
- Mount: Abyss Worm from Mistress Sassz'ine, a rare chance on any difficulty, LFR included.
- Artifact relics, armor appearances and the raid achievements, the Mythic meta among them.
- Legendary items from the bosses.
The Abyss Worm drops in LFR too, so go in for it every week on all difficulties at once — the lockouts are separate.
