Roadmap

What is already done, what we are testing now and what is planned. Updated as we go.

  1. Closed beta
    Registration is open — come in, play, break things: right now is when we decide what gets fixed first. Every bug report from the forum reaches a developer and gets a status.

  2. Dungeons and raids
    We are clearing the content ourselves and working through your reports: Tomb of Sargeras, Antorus, and Mythic+ with keystones. Boss mechanics, timers and loot get fixed as we go.

  3. Classes, spells, professions
    We are cleaning up rotations, talents, artifact abilities and item effects. Professions, recipes and the auction house are a separate pass.

  1. Wipe before release
    Before launch the database is wiped completely: characters, achievements, collections, gold. That is the fair price for getting to break the server during the test — everyone starts release from the same point. We will announce it well in advance.

  2. Release
    Launch on a clean database, a stable core and content we have already cleared. No “we’ll fix it later”: whatever does not work does not make it to release.

  3. Rewards for beta testers
    Everyone who tested and sent reports gets a mark on their account at launch plus in-game rewards. Progress resets; the credit does not.

    Regular events with rewards, seasonal progress races, and a ladder at the end of each season.

  5. Custom content
    Our own additions that were never in the original: extra mechanics, modes and rewards — exactly where Legion was missing them, and without turning the game into something else. We will show the details as they are ready rather than promising a list up front.

    Transmog appearances, pets, mounts, name and appearance changes, and account services. The lineup and prices will be published as they are finalised.

    The site and the guides are translated, and Discord has its own English channels. Next up: the forum and English-language support.

    Build 26365: the Broken Isles, Suramar, Argus, class order halls, and artifact weapons with relics. The foundation everything else stands on.
